Flasher Relays - Electronic

  • Flasher units are designed to control the flash rate of vehicle directional indicators; this is achieved by providing regular interruption of the electric current in the indicator circuit.
  • There are 3 common styles of flasher units; electro-mechanical and electronic and thermal.
  • Tridon offers an extensive range of flasher units in load sensitive and non load sensitive types.
  • Electronic flasher units are load sensitive, whereby if a bulb failure occurs the flasher rate increases to indicate the failure. Electronic flasher units with bulb outage conform to ADR13 and are suitable for all vehicles in the Australian vehicle parc.
  • The flasher unit must be compatible with the vehicle electrical system; the Tridon flasher unit range has been carefully researched and engineered to suit each specific application.
  • Please refer to the Tridon Part Finder for the correct flasher unit for your application.
