Ignition Modules

  • The Ignition Module is an integral part of the vehicle ignition system. The ignition module provides switching of the ignition coil at the correct time and for the correct duration; this is achieved through a signal from a pickup coil, Hall Effect or optical sensor or the ECU.
  • The ignition module also limits current to the ignition coil to prevent overheating and loss of performance caused by excessive temperature.
  • The ignition module must be compatible with the vehicle ignition system; the Tridon ignition module range has been carefully researched and engineered to suit each specific application.
